Optimized for speech intelligibility, the mic offers a 50 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response and handles SPL levels up to 120 dB without distorting. The mic’s cardioid polar pattern minimizes pickup of off-axis sound and enhances feedback rejection when used with sound reinforcement equipment. The attached 5.2′ cable is terminated with a locking 3.5mm TRS output connector for use with Sennheiser wireless transmitters and other compatible transmitters and devices. The ME 4 features an integrated protective grille and a mic clip is included for easy attachment to clothing. A foam windscreen is also provided to reduce breath and wind noise.
