As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience. Advanced Auditorium Body – With the concept of Advanced Acoustics – “Reimagining Acoustic Experience” in mind, we carefully designed the new body shape of the Advanced Auditorium, drawing on our research into the general Auditorium body shape. After many rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body has a slightly wider waist, which has been moved slightly towards the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack. X-M bracing for AAM series – After more than two years of trial and error, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mids are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble has the clarity of steel strings while retaining the warmth of nylon strings. Low Oval Grip Maple neck with Rounded Fretboard Edge – The Low Oval neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming and the Rounded Fretboard Edges deliver superior playability. Rosewood fretboard – Rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range. Solid Sitka Spruce top – Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end. Flamed Maple back and sides – Flamed Maple back and sides create an attractive visual profile and offer bright and tight tones. Rosewood Scalloped bridge – The lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance and provides more flexibility in adjusting the action than does a typical bridge. Advanced Access Cutaway – Its deep straight cutaway (from 18th fret) and shaved side enable amazing high fret access. Functional Tapered Headstock – The newly designed headstock shape is the result of thorough research and investigation. Its tapered shape provides lighter weight, as well as a straight string alignment which enhances tuning stability and reduces any neck twisting effect. Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup – The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into. Ibanez Custom Electronics w/Volume and Tone Control – The guitar features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making it suitable for a variety of applications for modern players. Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins – These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage™ pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage™ the pin and string stay put.
