Gibson – L48 Vintage 1957 Acoustic Archtop Guitar w/ Gig Bag – Used

Here we have a really sweet 57 Gibson L48 archtop guitar. It is a one owner guitar that was brought in by the son of the original owner who has passed away. The guitar is in very good playing condition showing normal signs of wear for a guitar of this vintage. The label is missing so we don’t have a serial number to date it but he remembers when the guitar was purchased so we are going by that. The frets are great with just a little wear on the first fret but it plays clean with no buzz. The neck is straight and the action is low. This guitar is ready to play and not a project. The only repairs done to the guitar are the pick guard was replaced as well as the tuner buttons that had deteriorated over time. Other than that its a very sweet sounding and playing guitar! There are lots of little nicks and dings as shown in the photos so please look them over carefully and consider them part of the description.
