Description Product Overview Emerson SE4050E1C0 is an 8-Wide I/O Interface Carrier. It comes with 8 Power Buss Plugs, a Carrier Shield Bar, and a 1.1m (43 in) Extender Cable. This carrier speeds up assembly and simplifies power wiring. It uses only 24V DC bulk power – no other voltages needed. All power connects directly to system carriers. Bus connectors now support 12V DC to I/O cards. You can place extra power carriers anywhere along the bus. Need a different I/O platform? Check our Versamax series. For questions, contact us via WhatsApp at 86 158 8020 0923. Quick Installation Mounts to standard T-type DIN rail. Latches need no tools for fast setup. Release latches with a blade screwdriver when needed. Snap carrier onto the rail. Slide carriers together to connect the bus. Power Distribution – How It Works Each I/O card can get power in two ways: Via Power Buss Plugs – uses internal 24V DC bus. Via Power Terminal Plugs – powers each card individually. The internal bus splits into primary and secondary power. Odd slots get primary power. Even slots get redundant (secondary) power. What happens if a Power Buss Plug fuse blows? The fuse is built-in. Replace the plug to restore power to that card. Keep spare plugs on hand. Can I install this carrier in a very cold environment? Yes. It works from -40°C. Storage is safe down to -85°C. How do I know if my cards get primary or secondary power? Odd-numbered slots get primary. Even-numbered slots get secondary (redundant). Check slot position. Is the carrier compatible with older Emerson I/O modules? This carrier fits S-series I/O modules. Check module type before ordering. Selection Guide – Choose the Right Carrier Need 8 I/O slots? This is your carrier. Need more power? The bus gives 12 Amps total. Each card max 3 Amps. Need harsh environment support? This carrier has G3 coating for dirty air. Need redundant power? Use even slots for backup power. Need fast mounting? Tool-less latches save time. Engineering Tip: Always check total current draw. Add up each card’s needs. Do not exceed 12 Amps per bus. For high-power cards, use individual Terminal Plugs instead of Buss Plugs. Copyright © 2026 PLCDCS HUB Limited. All rights reserved.
