Description Product Introduction The SOR 107AL-N12-P1-F0A-X belongs to the 107 Low Differential Pressure Switches series. It measures very low pressure changes. This switch works great for HVAC systems and burner management. The weathertight NEMA 4 housing keeps it safe outdoors. You can adjust the set point from outside without opening the box. Why Choose This Switch External set point adjustment with visual scale – no need to open cover Fine resolution for precise low pressure control Narrow dead band improves system response time High repeatability cycle after cycle Rugged 6063-T5 aluminum housing resists corrosion UL Listed and CSA Certified switching elements Technical Specifications Brand: SOR (Safety Oversight and Regulation) Model: 107AL-N12-P1-F0A-X Series: 107 Low Differential Pressure Switches Type: Low Differential Pressure Switch Housing Type: Weathertight NEMA 4 Housing Material: 6063-T5 Aluminum Weight: 2.3 kg (5 lb) Pressure Ports & Wetted Parts Port Material: Plated cold-rolled steel Connection size: 1/8” NPT(F) standard Option: Change F0A to F1A for 1/4” NPT(F) Wetted materials: Buna-N, brass, aluminum, cork, stainless steel, acrylic tubing, nylon, plated cold-rolled steel Electrical connection: 3/4” NPT(F) with screw terminals Temperature & Pressure Limits Ambient temperature: -40°F to 150°F (-40°C to 65°C) Process temperature: -40°F to 150°F (-40°C to 65°C) Max system pressure: 10 psig (0.69 bar) Vacuum rating: Protected to 30” Hg Electrical Service Details Contact form: SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) Electrical rating (resistive loads only): Contact factory for specific ratings DC ratings come from testing, not agency certification Screw terminals standard on weathertight models Key Performance Features Dead band: Narrow for precise control Repeatability: High cycle-to-cycle consistency Set point resolution: Fine adjustment capability Draft ranges: Designed for very low pressure HVAC applications Compatible with air and gas services matching wetted parts Installation & Setup Mount the switch in any orientation Use 1/8” NPT fitting for pressure connection Turn external knob to adjust set point Read visual scale for approximate setting Connect wires to screw terminals inside housing Keep electrical conduit at 3/4” NPT standard Do not exceed 10 psig system pressure Protect from freezing below -40°C Diagnostic & Maintenance Tips Check set point scale during routine rounds Listen for switch clicking at desired pressure Test with a 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probes for position feedback in automated systems Replace if dead band widens over time No regular calibration needed for most HVAC uses Typical Applications HVAC filter monitoring (dirty filter detection) Burner management systems (air flow proving) Draft pressure control in boilers Fan and blower status verification Air handler differential pressure Clean room pressurization monitoring Industrial air and gas services Certifications & Compliance UL Listed – snap action switching elements CSA Certified – meets Canadian standards NEMA 4 – weathertight against rain and splashing water Suitable for outdoor installations Package Contents SOR 107AL-N12-P1-F0A-X switch (1 unit) Screw terminals (pre-installed) Instruction manual 12-month warranty card Warranty & Shipping 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects Fast worldwide shipping via FedEx, UPS, or DHL Tracking number provided for every order Questions about installation? WhatsApp 86 158 8020 0923 FAQ – Experience & Selection Guide What is the real difference between NEMA 4 and explosion-proof? This NEMA 4 switch resists rain and dust but does not contain explosions. Use explosion-proof models for gas or vapor hazards. For boiler rooms with gas, check local codes first. Many inspectors reject NEMA 4 in gas areas. Can I use this switch for liquid pressure? No, this 107 series is for air and gas only. Liquids will damage the internal diaphragm. Use SOR 121 or 124 series for liquid applications. The wetted materials include cork and acrylic which absorb liquids. How do I know which port size to order? Pick F0A (1/8” NPT) for most HVAC systems. Pick F1A (1/4” NPT) for larger pipe connections. You cannot change the port later. Order adapters if unsure. We stock both versions. Why does my switch not trip at the scale reading? The visual scale is approximate only. Always use a calibrated pressure source for final setting. Turn the adjuster slowly. Wait 10 seconds after each small turn. The scale gets you close, not exact. What is the typical lifespan of this switch? We see 5-7 years in clean HVAC service. Dirty air cuts life to 2-3 years. Change every 3 years in burner applications. The snap action contacts wear slowly. Test yearly with a manometer. Should I buy this or an electronic pressure transmitter? Buy this switch for simple on/off control at low cost. Buy a transmitter for analog signals to a PLC. For critical burner safety, use this mechanical switch. It fails predictably. Electronics can fail in strange ways. Copyright © 2026 PLCDCS HUB Limited.
